How to Make a Domicile Certificate in Haryana Online

Step 1 – Go to the SARAL Portal (http://saralharyana.gov.in). If you are not registered on the SARAL Portal, then you need to register as a citizen in order to avail of services by clicking on the Sign Up link provided.

Step 2 – Login to the SARAL Portal with your credentials. You will be welcomed with a screen similar to given below. In the Manage Profile menu, you can view your details, update them, and change your password. The apply for services menu provides a list of services and an interface to apply for them. In the View Status of Application menu, you can track your application, view incomplete applications, and revalidate payments.

Step 3 – In order to avail services provided to citizen, please click on “Apply for services” link provided on the navigation bar on the left side. In the sub-menu choose “View Services”. On that page, you can see a list of services provided to citizen.

Step 4 – In order to avail Haryana Resident Certificate(Domicile), please choose “Haryana Resident Certificate(Domicile)” from the list of services. To locate service rapidly, you can use search feature. Enter some characters from the service name in the search box, you will get list of services rapidly. Now click on the Apply link to avail this service

Haryana Domicile Certificate Eligibility

  • Applicants or their parents must reside in Haryana for at least 15 years.
  • When a woman is married and is not a resident of Haryana, her husband should be a resident of Haryana for 15 years.

Documents required for domicile certificate in Haryana

  • Pre-verification report from the Nambardar or Sarpanch and Patwari when the applicants reside in rural areas

How to check domicile certificate status online in Haryana?

  • Visit the SARAL Haryana portal.
  • Click on the ‘Track Application/Appeal’ option on the homepage.
  • Select the department as ‘Revenue & Disaster Management Department’ from the drop-down list.
  • Select the service as ‘Resident Certificate’.
  • Enter the ‘Application Reference ID’ and click the ‘Check Status’ button.
  • The status of the application will be displayed on the screen.

Applicants can also check the domicile certificate status through SMS. Applicants must type ‘SARAL’ and send it to ‘9954699899’ to track the application status from the registered mobile.

When the mobile number is not registered on the SARAL Haryana portal, applicants can send ‘SARAL<space><Application ID/Ticket No.>’ and send it to 9954699899 to track the application status from any mobile number.
