Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel announced the Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Gujarat Yojana (Schemes for Assistance to Industries) to attract investments worth Rs. 12.50 lakh crore and create 15 lakh new jobs in Gujarat. The CM said, “MSMEs will get up to 75% net SGST reimbursement on fixed capital investment for 10 years, micro industries will get capital subsidy up to Rs. 35 lakh, and MSMEs will get interest subsidy up to Rs. 35 lakh annually for 7 years.” This scheme aims to make Gujarat independent by supporting local products and creating jobs in manufacturing.
