For this purpose, both state and Central governments are implementing various kinds of schemes. Through these schemes, financial assistance is provided to the girls for their marriage. The Government of Telangana has launched Telangana Shaadi Mubarak Scheme. Through this scheme, all those families who are not able to bear the expenses of the marriage of their daughter will be provided financial assistance. This financial assistance will be Rs 100116. Only those families who belong to the minority category can be able to take benefit from this scheme. In order to take benefit from this scheme, beneficiaries are required to apply through the official website. The beneficiary is also required to submit the filled-in application form at the concerned MRO office for verification. The MRO will take the approval of the concerned MLA to sanction the amount.

The financial assistance will be provided into the bank account of the mother of the bride by the RDO. In order to take benefit of this scheme, the family income of the applicant must be Rs 2 lakh or less. The applicants require to update the bank account details of the bride’s mother for verification purposes.

Verification Of Application Under the TS Shaadi Mubarak Scheme

Presently the processing and verification of applications are done by the executive director, TSMFC/Dist. minorities welfare officer, minorities welfare department but now Tehsildar will be responsible for processing and verifying the received application
The concerned constituency member of the legislative assembly is responsible for approving the beneficiary list
The approved list of beneficiaries will be retained in hard copy as a record
The beneficiary list will also be uploaded to the online system
Cheques will be issued to the beneficiary instead of present system of transferring the amount into the bank account of the beneficiary
The approved list will be sent to the district minorities welfare officer who is concerned with the preparation of cheques
The cheques will be distributed by the concerned constituency MLA to the beneficiary once a week on a specific day At The mandal headquarter or taluk headquarter as per the wish of the MLA
In the name of the mother of the bride, cross cheque will be issued
The Aadhar card of the bride and bridegroom is mandatory and shall be scanned and uploaded
The necessary immediate actions will be taken by the director, of minority welfare, Telangana state, Hyderabad
The details of necessary instructions to the treasury officers in order to take necessary action will be issued by the finance department
