Purpose of the Sikkim Punarwas Awas Yojana

First Phase: Building 2100 Houses and Loan Support
In the first phase, the government will build about 2100 houses for flood victims. Besides homes, students who couldn’t pay their fees because of floods will get help with education fees. Also, people who lost jobs or businesses can get loans up to 10 lakh rupees without interest for two years. This way, they can restart their work and support themselves.
