Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announced the Rajasthan Gramin Parivar Aajivika Loan Scheme in the 2024-25 budget. The Cooperation Department has approved this scheme, which now offers interest-free loans through commercial banks, regional rural banks, cooperative banks, and small finance banks.
The scheme provides loans ranging from ₹25,000 to ₹2,00,000 to rural families for agricultural and non-agricultural activities. About 1 lakh rural families will benefit from this program. Apart from the interest-free loan, the government will offer an interest subsidy of ₹100 crore to support this scheme. To be eligible, families should have lived in rural areas of Rajasthan for at least 5 years.

Loans Given Within 15 Days Under the Scheme
Once your loan application is approved, the government promises to provide the loan within 15 days. Loans will be given through various banks including commercial banks, regional rural banks, government banks, and small finance banks. Under this scheme, the target is to distribute loans to 1 lakh families through:
- 55,158 through commercial banks
- 36,741 through regional rural banks
- 5,949 through cooperative banks
- 2,152 through small finance banks
No processing fee will be charged for the loan application. Beneficiaries must renew their loans each year by clearing any outstanding balance. The government will keep providing interest subsidies in the following years as well.
