Want to check your EPF claim status? It’s now very easy to know the status of your Provident Fund claim online, thanks to the Universal Account Number (UAN) introduced by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). If you’ve applied to withdraw your EPF amount, you can quickly track your claim status online or through other easy methods after activating your UAN on the EPFO portal.

Overview of EPF Claim Status in 2025
Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) is a government saving scheme to help workers save money for their retirement. Government employees have a similar fund called the Government Provident Fund (GPF). Both EPF and GPF are often called PF. Under this scheme, both employee and employer contribute at least 12% of the employee’s basic salary every month to the fund. After submitting a claim to withdraw money, you can check your PF claim status either online or offline.
