The E Shram Card Nipun Yojana 2025 was initiated by Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on June 20, 2024, for the benefit of young laborers in the construction sector. This program aims to train 1 lakh workers in plumbing and infrastructure, thus enhancing their skills and providing them with job opportunities. So far, 80,000 construction workers have received training, and now 14,000 beneficiaries will undergo training in plumbing and related trades according to the National Skill Qualification Framework. The scheme is expected to help approximately 12,000 young laborers find employment in foreign countries.

  • A project committee will be established under the Additional Secretary Commission Director to monitor this scheme.
