Bengaluru Population

The population of Bengaluru was 8,443,675 as of the 2011 Census. Since that time, there hasn’t been a decennial census to provide a more recent estimate of the population. The population of the city may have topped one crore, according to rumors. Surprisingly, DK Shivakumar claimed that the city’s population is a stunning 1.6 crore, despite the fact that 1.3 crore people are registered to vote. It is important to note that an astounding 50 lakh people move to Bengaluru every day. This ongoing influx of people strengthens Bengaluru’s position as the state of Karnataka’s top revenue-producing city.

They emphasised the necessity of monorail or suburban rail as well. Additionally, experts offered a number of recommendations to enhance the city’s sanitation, water supply, garbage disposal, effective management, and fight corruption.
