About APTIDCO Housing Scheme 2025
The Andhra Pradesh Township and Infrastructure Development Corporation (APTIDCO) is the state nodal agency working to build and hand over more than 28 lakh houses to eligible people by 2025. The scheme is being rolled out in phases. So far, 2.6 lakh of the 5 lakh units under construction are finished. Some housing projects are on hold due to legal issues related to land purchase.
The scheme offers three sizes of flats: 300 sq ft, 365 sq ft, and 430 sq ft. Around 1.43 lakh homes will be 300 sq ft, more than 44,000 will be 365 sq ft, and about 74,000 will be 430 sq ft. For the 365 sq ft flat, beneficiaries pay a down payment of Rs 50,000, and for the 430 sq ft, Rs 1 lakh is required. Home loans are also available to help with payments.
