AP YSR Aarogyasri Card Scheme 2024
The YSR Aarogyasri scheme was launched by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh state in the year of 2017 and since then the scheme has been providing financial funds to all of the people of the state, mainly those who are poor and are basically below the poverty line. Through the implementation of this scheme, many benefits were provided to all of the beneficiaries in Andhra Pradesh state. One of the main benefits of the scheme was the cashless treatment in most of the government hospitals of Andhra Pradesh state.
Objective Of Aarogyasri Card Scheme
Through the implementation of this Aarogyasri Scheme by the Andhra Pradesh Government, many financial aids will be provided to the people who are not able to pay their medical bills on time or are not able to undergo surgeries because of financial backwardness. Also, an Aarogyasri card has been launched by the concerned authorities so that there is a smooth functioning of the scheme. Any of the beneficiaries can show that card at the government hospital and gain the benefit of the scheme.
Inclusion Of Covid-19 Under the Aarogyasri Scheme
As you all may be aware that under the Aarogyasri scheme, a patient will get Rs 200000 medical coverage. The Government of Telangana has decided to include covid-19 treatment in this scheme. Now all the government hospitals will provide covid-19 treatment under Aarogyasri scheme to all the beneficiaries. Coverage of covid-19 under this scheme in private hospitals will be implemented in the next phase. The Government of Telangana wanted to provide Covid-19 treatment under aarogyasri scheme in all the public and Private Hospitals but the decision was changed last minute and only government hospitals were covered as of now.
- This scheme will apply to all types of fever which are caused by viruses. Other than that this scheme will also be applicable for dengue, malaria, typhoid, swine flu, etc, and others that cause serious fever. 949 diseases are currently being treated under Aarogyasri. Around 77.10 lakh cardholders are getting benefits from this scheme.

Update Of The Aarogyasri Health Scheme
As mentioned above the YSR Aarogyasri Scheme was launched in the year 2017 by the then Chief Minister of the Andhra Pradesh state. Now in the upcoming year of 2020, a new updated version of the YSR aarogyasri Scheme is launched by the current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh state that is Mr. YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy. Under this new initiative, many new diseases will be added to the scheme so, that the smooth functioning of the initiative is possible. The new revamp of the scheme will be launched on 3rd January 2024at 10:00 a.m. for all the common public.
Changes Under The Scheme
As mentioned above a revamp of the YSR Aarogyasri Scheme has been launched by the concerned authorities of Andhra Pradesh state. One of the main changes in the scheme is the inclusion of hospitals through which the beneficiaries can avail of the benefit of the scheme. Now you can avail of the benefit of the scheme in the government hospitals of Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru. Now, medical assistance will also be provided to the patients who have their medical bills exceeding rupees 1000. Inclusion of more than 2000 diseases will be done under the scheme also health centers will be developed for the patients.
Eligibility Criteria for Aarogyasri Card
If you want to avail the benefits of the
YSR aarogyasri scheme for the year 2024then you have to follow the following
eligibility criteria given below:-
- The applicant must only have less than 35 acres of land, including wet and dry land.
- The applicant must have municipal property tax-paying families for less than 3000 SFT (334 sq. Yds).
- Outsourcing, contract, part-time employees and sanitation workers with an annual income of over Rs 5 lakh are also eligible.
- The applicant can also be Honorary remuneration employees and private sector employees working in the public sector.
- If the applicant has more than one car then they are not eligible for the scheme.
- Families filing income tax up to Rs 5 lakh are also eligible.

Procedure to Download Aarogyasri Card
- The applicant who wants to get an Aarogyasri health card firstly they have to visit their nearest MeeSeva Centre.
- Now through the MeeSeva Agent Login ID & Password, your Health card will be applied.
- So submit all the required documents and required information to the meeseva center agent.
- After the under the Meeseva Agent will apply for your health card.
- Now after the successful registration you will get an acknowledgment slip. Keep it safe for future use.
- After successfully applying online for a health card you will get Aarogyasri Card within 15 days from the Meeseva Centre.

- From the open page, you have to click the login option
- Log in with the website and click the link to the Aarogyashri health card application form
- Now enter the asked information in the application form

Offline
- To apply offline, you have to go to the official website of the Navasakam portal or Grama ward Sachivalayam portal
- From the opened page, you need to click the “download” option

Procedure to Check YSR Aarogyasri Health Card Status
- To check the card status open the official website
- Select the “EHS” option from the home page of the website
- A new page appears on the screen from where go to the “Patients” option
- Click the “Health Card Status” option
- choose “Employee ID” or “Pensioner ID” and enter the detail
- Submit the detail by clicking the “search” option and your card status will appear
Search Employee Enrolment Status
- To check the card status open the official website
- Select the “EHS” option from the home page of the website
- A new page appears on the screen from where to select the “Search Employee Enrollment Status” option given under the “employee” section
- Enter the details such as employee name, date of birth, name of the department, and DDO
- Submit the detail by click the “search” option to check your status
Procedure to Check Employee Medical Reimbursement Status:
- To check the employee medical reimbursement status first go to the official website
- Click EHS from the menu bar and a new page will appear from where you need to click “Employee Medical Reimbursement Status”
- Select medical reimbursement (online/ offline) and enter trust number and DME number
- Select search option and your reimbursement status will display on the screen
Check Pensioner Medical Reimbursement Status
- To check the pensioner medical reimbursement status first go to the official website
- Click EHS from the menu bar and a new page will appear from where you need to click “Pensioner Medical Reimbursement Status”
- Select medical reimbursement (online/ offline) and enter trust number and DME number
- Select the search option and your reimbursement status will display on the screen
Procedure to Download Health Card
- To download the health card first go to the official website
- Click EHS from the menu bar and a new page will appear from where you need to click the “download Health card” option
- Enter the User ID and select the “Go” option
- Then it will ask for further information in step 2
- Enter the asked information and your card will appear on the screen
- Download it and save it as a soft copy or take print of it.
