It offers farmers in Rajasthan up to 50% subsidy to set up agri-food processing units like warehouses, cold storages, pack houses, and milk chilling plants. The subsidy can be as high as ₹1 crore to encourage farmers to start agriculture-related businesses and increase their earnings.
In addition to the subsidy, farmers can also get a 6% interest subsidy for 5 years on bank loans up to ₹1 crore. So overall, farmers can receive support up to ₹2 crore for their agri-business projects through this scheme.

Subsidy for Other Entrepreneurs
Not only farmers, but other entrepreneurs in Rajasthan can also get up to 25% subsidy (up to ₹50 lakh) for starting agri-food processing businesses. They also get a 5% interest subsidy on bank loans up to ₹50 lakh for 5 years. This support helps create new jobs and increase incomes in the state.
Investment and Subsidy Details
The Rajasthan government has approved subsidies of ₹89.58 crore for 228 farmers investing ₹307.87 crore and ₹177.19 crore for 582 other eligible entrepreneurs investing ₹1255.62 crore. This will help set up many agriculture-based food processing units across the state.
District-wise Grants for Food Processing Units
- Garlic processing units get grants in Pratapgarh, Chittorgarh, Kota, and Bara districts.
- Pomegranate units receive subsidies in Barmer and Jalore.
- Orange processing units get support in Jhalawar and Bhilwara.
- Mustard units in Bharatpur, Alwar, Karauli, Dholpur, and Sawai Madhopur receive subsidies.
- In these districts, the government provides up to 50% financial help or up to ₹1 crore for setting up designated crop processing units.

- Go to the official Rajasthan Agriculture Department website at rajkisan.rajasthan.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click “Farmer/Citizen Login.”
- A new page will open. In the ‘User Guide’ section for farmers/citizens, select “Apply for Subsidy under Rajasthan Agriculture Processing.”
- On the next page, pick one option from capital investment subsidy, rent subsidy, or loans from Rajasthan State Cooperative Bank.
- Enter your user type and Aadhaar number. Click “Get OTP” to verify.
- After verification, the application form will appear.
