The first technological university in the country, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, was founded on October 2, 1972, by Act of State Assembly of Andhra Pradesh No. 16. In the last 49 years (1972-2024), it has led the way in delivering high-quality technical education that is relevant to the State and commemorating Golden Jubilee Year (2024-2524).
