About Abua Swasthya Card

Abua Swasthya Card is super important because it helps people get healthcare. It is part of a big scheme called Mukhya Mantri Abua Swasth Suraksha Yojana. This scheme is made to give health coverage to 33.44 lakh people. These people were not part of the central Ayushman Bharat Yojana before.

Now, Ayushman Bharat gives families a health coverage of Rs. 5 lakh each year. But guess what? Jharkhand’s new scheme boosts this amount to Rs. 15 lakh for every family each year! That’s a big difference!

Before, these 33.44 lakh people could not get Ayushman Bharat. But the earlier state government, which was led by the BJP, made a smart move. They decided to help these people by giving them health coverage through state funds.

This means more families can now go to doctors and hospitals without worrying much about money. Overall, Abua Swasthya Card is a great help for many families in Jharkhand.

This new scheme ensures that more families in Jharkhand have access to free medical care at both government and selected private hospitals, helping reduce financial stress caused by medical emergencies. Under this scheme, beneficiaries will receive Abua Swasthya Card.

Mukhyamantri Abua Swasthya Suraksha Yojana Detail

The Mukhyamantri Abua Swasthya Suraksha Yojana is a healthcare initiative launched by the Jharkhand government to extend health coverage to 33.44 lakh people who were excluded from the central Ayushman Bharat Yojana.

Under this scheme, each family receives a health cover of Rs. 15 lakh per year, significantly higher than the Rs. 5 lakh provided under Ayushman Bharat. The state government funds this premium to ensure that economically weaker families can access free medical care. Beneficiaries can use the scheme for treatment at government and empaneled private hospitals, covering a wide range of medical procedures.

The scheme primarily targets families with ration cards, ensuring that healthcare is accessible to those most in need. The Jharkhand Government aims to reduce the financial burden of healthcare on low-income families and improve overall health outcomes across the state, providing better protection against high medical costs.
