E Shram One-Stop Solution Objective
The main aim of E Shram is to create a one-stop solution for unorganized workers. This means they want to build a single database that is connected to Aadhaar. This database will hold important details about all types of unorganized workers.
Who are unorganized workers? They include construction workers, migrant workers, gig workers, platform workers, street vendors, domestic workers, and agricultural workers. These workers often do not have access to proper benefits and security.
E Shram is trying to make it easier for unorganized workers to get social security services. By combining efforts with different government departments, they aim to help more workers get support.
In short, E Shram will link the social security programs from the Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) with the programs from other ministries. This way, it helps everyone get the help they need.
