Who Can Apply? Eligibility Criteria
General Category
- Must be 18 years or older; valid partnership contracts are accepted.
- Indian citizens or NRIs can apply, except those restricted by government rules from buying property in Uttar Pradesh.
- Only one plot per applicant is allowed. Those already given a residential plot or flat under other schemes cannot apply.
- If any close family member (wife, children, or parents) owns a plot from this scheme, the applicant’s money may be forfeited.
- Joint applications are allowed only with immediate family (parents, siblings, spouse, children) with proof.
- Both spouses can apply separately, but if both get plots, one must give up their allotment within a month.
Reserved Category
- Must be 18 or older with valid contracts if partnership is involved.
- Includes industrial establishments, managing directors, proprietors, partners, trustees, or landowners of land acquired by YEIDA or in Jewar Airport, who have not been given plots before.
