How Financial Assistance is Released to Beneficiaries
- The State or Union Territory decides the number and amount of installments, with at least 3 stages as per central government rules.
- House construction follows 7 stages: House Sanction, Foundation, Plinth, Windowsill, Lintel, Roof Casting, and Completion.
- The first installment is released at sanction time. Remaining payments come as construction progresses.
- The second installment links to Foundation or Plinth stage; third installment to Windowsill, Lintel, or Roof casting stages.

- For plain areas, financial assistance is ₹1.20 lakh per house.
