On October 18, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma started a new scheme called Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan (CMAAA) 2.0. This scheme will help 75,000 young people in Assam to become self-reliant. The main aim is to give them money to start their own businesses.
This initiative is really cool because it wants to create more jobs and encourage young people to be entrepreneurs. It gives them a chance to grow local businesses, especially in areas like agriculture, hand-loom, and small industries.
Last year, the first phase of this scheme was launched in September. Now, with CMAAA 2.0, the government wants to build on its success. They hope it will make Assam’s economy stronger and help everyone become more self-reliant.
The CMAAA Assam portal (cmaaa.assam.gov.in) is the official online platform for the Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan (CMAAA) scheme. The Chief Minister announced that eligible applicants must register on the CMAAA portal and submit a detailed project report. cmaaa assam gov in portal will remain open for registration until November 18.
Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 2.0 Overview
Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan (CMAAA) 2.0 is an important program for helping entrepreneurs in Assam.
